What's Happening!?!
You may have noticed that things are looking a little sparse at the Etsy shop. We're busy preparing for a house party in October so I won't be adding anything new to the shop until after that. We are working on new things, but they will be available first at the party, and then anything that's left will go on Etsy. However, I'm not planning to add any new girls clothes until the spring. I may change my mind in the slow winter months, but as of now I just don't see how it can happen. Our current designs will still be available, but nothing new. I apologize to all you faithful customers, but I never realized how much time it would take to do new designs for all the seasons! So maybe ShicShoppe will only have spring/summer clothes??? It's yet to be determined.
Now more on the house party in October. My dear friend, Jessica, will be hosting a party at her house in Woods Cross, Utah on Friday, October 1st. We'll have lots of bracelets, necklaces, earrings, headbands, flower clips, bags and totes that you can buy and take away that evening. Oh, and did I mention there will be special "party pricing"!?! It's sure to be a fun night with snacks, door prizes, great products and even better company. So check back soon for enticing pictures and all the details on the location and time!
Headbands
These ShicShoppe headbands came to be when I got a request from my friend, Jessica. She wanted some of the cute fabric headbands that you see everyone wearing (but you don't know where to get them!). Let me just say how glad I am that I didn't cut my hair off short again this spring, because it is super easy to just throw one of these headbands on and go.
There are lots more colors available than just what you see here. But, I am trying to enjoy the last weeks of summer with my girls and I am busy getting ready for a ShicShoppe party coming up this October in Utah. (More to come on that later) So I'm not actually going to list these on Etsy until after then. Custom Order
This is the perfect example of how a custom order can work.
I got an e-mail from T, saying this...."So my little sis is getting married in July and her colors are brown, lime green, and tangerine. Would you happen to be able to custom make dresses for my girls in those colors? I love the Elle, with the brown sash, but looking for something more bright as the background color...what do you think?"
Of course I was up for it! I got together some fabric choices and e-mailed them to her. She chose what she wanted and ta-dah, custom dresses only her girls will have, in the wedding colors! We also did matching bracelets for the girls. I think it all turned out great!
Details: We did the ELLE style for one dress, and the KAILEY style for the other. We dropped the ruffle from the KAILEY and added a brown ribbon to match the other dress. T sent me the measurements of her girls' wrists so the bracelets will fit perfectly.
